How Deposits Work Bassets and Bloodhounds Are Picked In The Order Deposits Were Received. First Pick Will Start At Four Weeks Old. Once The First Person On The Deposit List For That Litter Has Picked Then I Will Contact The Next On The List. Deposits Are $100.00 And Are Non-Refundable But Can Be Used Towards Other Litters Within 1 Year. Shipping and Balance Information Although we would love to meet everyone who choses to buy one of our Bassets Hounds or Bloodhounds Puppies, we understand that everyone can not pick up their puppies in person. If you fit in this category we will gladly arrange to fly your puppy to you at your expense. All puppies that require shipping must be paid in full at the age of 6 weeks (including shipping charges). But, if you are picking your Basset Hound or Bloodhound pup in person you can pay your remaining balance the day of pick up. We accept money orders, cash, or PayPal payments (add 3 % if using PayPal). Ground Delivery Bassets or Bloodhound pups can be delivered by ground transportation any where in the U.S. for $325 or less. Air Shipping Your Basset Hound or Bloodhound pup cannot be shipped by Air until 8 weeks of age. We cannot guarantee a specific ship date of your puppy. The weather plays a very important role in shipping puppies. No live animals can be shipped with most Airlines, if the temperature is above 85 or below 20 degrees. Please understand that the rules and regulations of pet travel are put in place for your puppies safety. Your puppy will be taken to my veterinarian within 10 days of flight, for an overall health check. Shipping Cost: $340. This cost includes everything your puppy will need to fly. Air line ticket, a nice airline approved kennel for pup to travel in, veterinarian health certificate and checkup, all vaccinations due up to the puppies flight date, and transportation to the airport. HydensHounds will acquire everything required for shipping the puppy to you safely. SHIPPING DATE: We will do our best to arrange a time that will work best for you to pick up your puppy. Shipping Date For Puppies: Puppies can be shipped seven days a week. Pups can only be booked for shipping 7 days in advance with Delta. When I book the pup for shipping, I will email you, or call you, with the flight number and arrival time, after the pup is booked. Puppies cannot be shipped by air until they are 8 weeks old. Shipping will be either from Fort Wayne Indiana International Airport, South Bend Indiana International Airport, or Indianapolis International Airport, to the closest international airport to you. I only ship with Delta. Unless they do not fly to your location. Insurance: All pups shipped will be insured for the price they were purchased for. INFORMATION I WILL NEED TO SHIP: Person to whom will be picking up the pup along with their address, phone number, and closest international airport. Once your puppy has been dropped off at the airport HydensHounds will no longer be responsible for the care or overall health of your puppy, until after the pup is picked up by you.
